What we collect

Name, email, professional role, GDC number (if you give it), practice or team link, course progress, quiz results, certificates, CPD hours, PDP or reflection text you type, and login or basic security data needed to run the site.

When you subscribe, we process payment card details through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe returns payment status and a customer or subscription reference so we can keep your membership active.

Why we use it

Keep the site secureLegitimate interests (running a secure service)
Practice admin seeing team completion, if that feature is usedLegitimate interests / contract with the practice

We do not sell your data. Core account processing is not based on a marketing tick. A GDC number is ordinary professional personal data, not special-category data.

Reflections

Do not enter patient names, NHS numbers, or other information that identifies a patient. If you type sensitive information we did not ask for, we may delete it.

Who helps us run the site

  • Vercel hosts the app and provides Web Analytics (described by Vercel as cookie-free / aggregated).
  • Hetzner hosts the WordPress / LMS in Germany / the EU.
  • Stripe processes card payments for Incisal Unlimited subscriptions.

How long we keep it

We keep account, progress and certificate records while your account is open, and then for about six years after closure so CPD evidence can still be shown if needed. Security logs are kept for about 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object in some cases. Email info@incisal.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. A quiz pass or fail is simply marking your answers.

Children

This service is for adults in dental practice, not for anyone under 18.

Security and changes

We take reasonable security measures. No site is completely secure. We may update this policy and will change the date at the top.
